you can plant flowers in cinder blocks. This particular house has them lined up on both sides and it looks fantastic. Have you seen any innovative plantings? I think I've also seen some in some old tires.

The old tires were supplied by the DC gov waaay back when -- I guess I just dated myself
Not "cinder blocks"--concrete masonry units (CMU) is the proper term. There are no cinders in those things.
I only post this because I know you comment on construction quite a bit. Keep up the good work!
