Sweet Kitchen Renovation

DSCF1412, originally uploaded by Prince of Petworth.

The proud owner of this kitchen writes:
"1. forgive my love of chickens.....
2. we sealed off the doorway to create an "L" shaped kitchen, other
than that we kept the original shape of the kitchen
3. we added cabinets, tile backsplash, countertops, microwave, oven,
dishwasher, a new floor and a bar
4. we kept the original hutch
5. all we need to do now is replace that horrible refrigerator!!"

Just keep in mind, if you go stainless with the frig like you did with the other appliances, no more magnets.
It's the only thing I don't like about stainless. Ask the PoP, he too loves frig magnets.

The 10 units at 1400 & 1404 Longfellow NW (5 sold) have that stove and microwave. Come look and see the refrigerator the builder installed to match them.

way too cluttered looking

I have the same stove and microwave. Funny! I have a BEAUTIFUL Fisher-Paykel stainless steel fridge to match. But alas, no fridge magnets.

I particularly like the backsplash.

For magnet lovers, that is the downfall of stainless. But I think a black refrigerator would look odd. So we are opting for a stainless model --- I have a REAL space issue, so I need a model that is 33 inches wide or less. Any suggestions?

Perhaps the absence of magnets will make it less cluttered looking? :-)

You can now buy stainless steel look appliances. As the name implies, they look like stainless steel but are much cheaper and you can use magnets. Home Depot carries them.
