Boy, those pictures sure don't match that pretentious description.

"Views all the way to Pentagon City..."

What an odd landmark to give, no?

we all know that real estate ads often stretch the facts, with things like location, but this one is a bit over the top... wonder whether it backfires?

people are selling places in brightwood and calling it petworth....it's all about what's the hot area and the surrounding places using that to get people to view their place....

oh yea and the outside of this place....not great looking when comparing to last week's house.

The front looks like crap too.

That's only $189 per square foot, and that's lower than you'd pay anywhere else in NW DC. This is a 3600 square foot home we're talking about.

This house is on the south side of the 200-block of Upshur, across from the new school. The location is not ideal and the front of the house looks like crap. And they have been working on it 4-ever! That said, I've been on the 3rd-floor deck and the view is truly extraordinary.

I thought the same thing. Why not...Clarendon? Or Crystal City?

"Views all the way to Fairfax!"
