This is another beautiful garden also located on the front yard. I'm super jealous of this one.

everytime i think about planting vegetables i remember i have about 20 squirrels in my yard plus nightly visitors: a racoon and a possum. so does anyone who grows veggies actually get to eat hem?
I just had my only two tomatoes eaten by some creature. So far the only yield from my garden has been one banana pepper. It's too upsetting to talk about right now...
The Post did a story on community gardens several months ago and mentioned that there's one at the Emery Recreation Center, up on Georgia Avenue (don't know the exact address, it's not too far south of Missouri Ave/Military Road.) Anyone familiar with it?
there's also one at 14th and taylor
I know -- Twin Oaks -- but I'm not sure that one is open to the public. From what I've read, it seems more geared towards kids. Does someone know for sure?
it is open to the public! one side of taylor is for kids, one is for the community. Contact griffith_leslie@hotmail.com for info. she coordinates it.
