This is the tie and suit I wore walking home from the metro. Now tell me if you feel or have felt the same way. I despise wearing a suit from the Petworth metro. Why? Because I feel like I could not possibly stick out more. I am 99 times out of 100 the only person wearing a suit. I feel like an idiot. So tell me, am I insane? Is it just me? Ladies and gentlemen please tell me, do you feel funny wearing dress clothes home from the metro? I'm just curious is all.

as more and more of the condos in the area start to fill up, you won't be the only one anymore. no worries....just a few more months!
Yes, I've totally been there. Fortunately, I don't have to dress up every day for my job, but the times I've gone out dressed up for an event I have felt conscious about how conspicuous I must've looked walking around Petworth.
Yeah--it can make you feel a little colonialist.
That tie is not the nicest. Unless you're in your 50s, in which case you get a pass. Or if you're blind. Or something.
That tie was a gift from Adlai Stevenson.
I have a beat-up old fedora that used to belong to Herblock. Would you like to borrow it to wear with your Adlai tie?
Yes!
you gotta be kidding me with that tie.
Here's a tip: take the tie off before you walk home.
One more tip: take that tie, bury it in your backyard, and see if anything sprouts up. If not, then at least you won't have to wear that tie again.
